International Work

European Day of Languages

Each year we start our international work with European Languages Week. The children enjoyed developing their Spanish language skills as well as learning more about Spanish culture. We finished off our learning with a celebration assembly where the children shared their work with the rest of the school.

Harvest around the World

Our Harvest Festival was held in school this year. The children enjoyed sharing their learning about harvest around the world with their friends and families. We also collected lots of donations for the food bank, to help others in need.

World Nursery Rhyme Week

Every year Nursery take part in World Nursery Rhyme week where they focus on 5 songs. Did you know learning and singing nursery rhymes has a big impact on a child's learning. This year we joined up with our partner school in Egypt, The Royal British International School. The children shared some of the nursery rhymes they have been learning and were able to see children from other countries sharing some of their favourite nursery rhymes. We also tried singing Incy Wincy Spider in Polish, it was very tricky but the children enjoyed joining in with some actions. Maybe you could have a try.
