Egg topic

Class: Reception Year: 2021 - 2022
This half term the children have been learning all about Eggs. Our key texts included;The Dinosaur that pooped a planet, Stomp, Chomp, Big Roars, Tyrannosaurus Drip, brend's boring egg and We’re going on an Egg Hunt.
This half term we were able to incorparte science and DT week into our learning. The children were each given an egg and they had to look after it for an afternoon and try not to let it crack. The children thought very carefully about the materials they would need to select to protect it.
As Easter approaches the children have been learning about the easter story and have been using drama as a means to retelling the story.
