Our vision, for all members of our community, stems from two bible passages:

'Life in all it's fullness' (John 10:10)

'Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it.' (Proverbs 22:6)

Through rooting our vision on the bible teaching above, we will promote an inclusive school community that values it all. Based on the Christian faith, mutual respect understanding and kindness towards others, we will foster resilience and a love of learning, which will enable the children and adults to achieve their aspirations and flourish beyond their time with us.

Our chosen Christian values support us in living out our vison for our school. We have chosen nine core Christian values with an aim of showing children ways to develop into resilient, caring members of the community.  These are: Community, Service, Justice, Creation, Friendship, Thankfulness, Peace, Hope and Perseverance.

Most of these Values can be said to be ‘human Values’ and inclusive for people with different or diverse faiths, and also for those with no faith.  As a Church of England school, however, these Values are rooted in the teachings in the Bible and are particularly important to members of our school family and support us in driving our vison forward.

It is important to us that we provide our children with the tools they need to succeed and become citizens of the future who care for each other and the world we live in.  We want children to foster a love of learning and love for each other as God taught us.

Be it known to all who enter here,

that Christ is the reason for this school.

The unseen but ever present teacher in its classes.

The model for all its staff.

The inspiration for its pupils.
