Vision

St. Oswald’s Church of England Primary School.

At St. Oswald's we pride ourselves on being a friendly, caring and nurturing school where all are valued as God's children.  Our children's well-being is at the heart of all we do, both in the curriculum and in the out of hours provision that we offer.  The values of the Christian Faith underpin the ethos of our school and provide our pupils with a secure sense of belonging.  We have a strong St. Oswald's community where all are valued as unique individuals with their own strengths and interests.  Our dedicated and committed staff team, strive to provide the best possible opportunities for all our pupils in school and beyond.

St. Oswald’s Vision

Our vision statement:

Our vision for all members of our community stems from the Bible verse:

'Teach children how they should live, and they will remember it all their life.' (Proverbs 22:6)

Through basing our vision on the bible teaching above we will promote an inclusive school community, rooted in mutual respect, understanding and kindness towards others.

'Life in all its fullness' (John 10:10)

In living out the statement above our vision is to develop resilience and a love of learning, which will enable the children to achieve their high aspirations.

The school continues to thrive and develop each year.

Be it known to all who enter here,

that Christ is the reason for this school.

The unseen but ever present teacher in its classes.

The model for all its staff.

The inspiration for its pupils.
