Chinese New Year

The children spent the week learning all about Chinese New Year. The classroom was a buzz with children making dragons ans chinese inspired pictures in the workshop, choosing colours carefully to paint a dragon, rolling playdough to make noodles and taking food orders in the chinese restaurant. In our outdoor play the children took part in races inspired by the animal race from the story of Chinese New Year. Some of our children even went into Liverpool over the weekend to see the celebrations taking place and then bringing in souveniers to show us.
