Chinese New Year
Class: Nursery Year: 2018 - 2019
The children loved learning about Chinese New Year. They explored food and culture through our Chinese kitchen role play area, helped make a Chinese dragon for our dragon dance and heard the story of Nian. They made noisy shakers to scare the monster away like the firecrackers in the story. Luckily we were already wearing red - a colour that Nian doesn't like!
