The way back home

Date: 4th Jun 2019 @ 11:13pm

The children have been pretending to blast off to the moon while jumping off the crates so we read the story 'The Way Back Home'.  From this the children pretended to make rocked outside and go on their own journey to the moon, we explored space walking, they used magnetic loose parts to create martians and used the 2D shapes to make rockets.  As part of stay and play, our grown ups helped us make blast off rockets.  We made sure that we counted back from 10 before they zoomed off into space!
