Roaring rockets

Date: 19th Nov 2019 @ 8:37am

After listening to the story 'Whatever next' the children were eager to learn more about rockets. We watched a space launch and counted back from 10. The children used paper straws and rolled up paper to create their own rockets. The children took them outside and had a competition to see which rocket would travel the furthest.

The children watched an explosion usin cola and mentos, the excitement was great to see. The children predicted how high the cola would go, some predicting to the sky!
