Eid we 07.06.19

This week we have been learning about the Muslim celebration of Eid in Nursery. One of our children loved sharing some of her special clothes for Eid. The other children all thought that she looked so beautiful! The children learnt about what Muslims do during this time and why it is celebrated. We explored mehndi patterns and used special homemade bodypaint to create our own mehndi patterns. We also had some samosas, onion bhajis and popadoms for snack time on Friday - yummy! Eid mubarak!
