Homework

Year 1 Homework

Dear parents, children home learning and at school,

Until the February half term there will be no IXL activities set for homework. I will ensure that coverage of the year 1 expectations and curriculum will be met through work set during the week on Google Classrooms, and lessons in school. Children can still access IXL for maths and English activities if they wish.

Spellings will continue, and it is important that the children learn and apply these words each week. If you keep looking at the facts and information from the Geography and History Knowledge organisers that would be fantastic.

I would highly encourage all children to continue reading as much as possible and to learn the Common Exception Words. These were included in the children's orange homework books before the Christmas break.

For children at school, all work is planned and set by myself. I will be in regular contact with the adult teaching year 1 and if you have any concerns, please contact me by e-mail. I am here to support all the children in this difficult time.

Take care,

Mrs Brunyee
