The Design museum has useful activities and videos you can watch to inspire you to design and make your own objects. Use the link below to visit the page or download some of the activities at the bottom of the page and get making. 



The website www.farmvention.com has some really fun design activities and competitions with some awesome oprizes to be won. 

www.stem.org also have a range of design activities to complete as well as some delicious recipes for you to follow. See below in the downloads for recipe ideas and some fabulous spaghetti structures building ideas. 

Log on to Purle Mash. Go to the Art section and click on 2Design and Make. Here you can design and make your own vehicles. You can print off your design and create your unique 3D vehicle. 

There are so many design activities you can carry out at home without a device:

Make models using lego, blocks or any other construction kits you have.

Collect boxes and packaging and create a junk creation: a castle, house, farm, vehicle - let your imagination run wild!

Design a board game to play with your family. 

Try some sewing or knitting with and adult.

Design an outfit for a snowy or summer day - what type of materials would you need to use?
